Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're concerned about your child, struggling in your own relationships, navigating a significant life change, or simply feeling that things have become harder than usual, you don't have to hold it all alone.

Together, we can make sense of what may be happening beneath the surface.

ABOUT NICK DOMMETT, PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Experienced and collaborative support

I'm Nick, a UKCP-accredited and BACP-registered psychotherapist with over 18 years' experience supporting children, young people, adults and families across educational, therapeutic and mental health settings. I offer a warm and collaborative space where someone can be seen, heard and accepted for who they truly are.

Often, the challenges that bring people to therapy are not immediately obvious. Anxiety, emotional outbursts, withdrawal, low mood, family conflict or a sense of feeling stuck can all be signs that something deeper is asking to be understood.

My work is rooted in the belief that behaviour, emotions and relationships make sense when we take time to understand the story behind them. Drawing on attachment, psychodynamic and integrative approaches, I tailor therapy to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Working together, we can begin to develop greater understanding, resilience and confidence, creating the conditions for meaningful and lasting change.

organic shape to reference children and adolescents

Children & Adolescents

A safe and accepting space for children and young people aged 5–18 to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Through play, creativity and talk therapy, I help young people make sense of difficult emotions, navigate challenges at home, school and socially, and build confidence and resilience.

Adults

I work with adults, offering an open, non-judgemental space to step back from the demands of daily life.

Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief, burnout or feeling stuck, together we can explore underlying patterns, experiences and relationships to find a better way forward.

Parents

Parenting is one of the most rewarding yet emotionally demanding roles we will ever hold.

While many courses focus on behaviour alone, Reflective Parenting explores what sits beneath it. It offers a supportive space to understand your child’s emotions, strengthen relationships and build confidence in family life.
